  1. Luke McGee has never been second choice this season. You mentioned that Marosi came in to cover, owing to injury to Murphy, who was himself covering McGee.

    There has been talk that McGee is struggling to make a meaningful recovery from a hip injury and multiple people have reported seeing him on crutches in the past few weeks.

    Marosi was an able deputy, and a lot of fans wouldn’t mind him back at Tranmere to play the 1st half of the season and cover for McGee now that Murphy has finally hung up his gloves.
