Woking 1-1 Torquay United. A good point for the Yellows on the road against play off hopefuls Woking. A Fadahunsi equaliser cancelled out Amond’s goal for Woking. National League leaders Notts County (H) on Saturday, we’re unbeaten in 3 consecutive league games for the first time this season, COYY! Torquay United 1-0 Maidstone. Not the most convincing win against bottom of the league but 3 points is 3 points! Woking (A) (hopefully actually this time) on Tuesday. COYY! Torquay United 1-0 FC Halifax. Big 3 points for the yellows at home (a rarity!) with an Asa Hall goal being the difference. Taunton (H) in the FA Trophy next weekend. Torquay United 1-1 Yeovil Town. Points shared at Plainmoor after a rather chaotic second half which included a red card right before the final whistle for Dylan Crowe. Onto the return leg away at Yeovil on New Years Day. Oldham Athletic 3-2 Torquay United. A loss against relegation rivals despite having the better of it in the 2nd half. An own goal, a wonder strike and some questionable defending sees us drop down to 22nd. Not looking good, needed points from that one especially. Well played to the 87 yellows fans who made the long trip, true hardcore. Dagenham & Redbridge 0-1 Torquay United. Fantastic (and crucial) win for the yellows against an in form Daggers side. A Will Goodwin goal was enough for the 3 points. Now only 3 pts away from being out of the relegation zone. Biiiig match against Oldham (A) next Sunday live on BT Sport. COYY! Torquay United 1-1 Gateshead. A game we really should have won with the chances created, and a game that we needed to win if we have a hope of turning this season around. Annoying. Dag & Red (A) at 12.30pm next Saturday. Barnet 1-0 Torquay United. A good second half not enough to come back from the 9th minute Barnet goal. Back to the bottom of the league with a big game against Gateshead at Plainmoor next weekend. Derby County 5-0 Torquay United. Not an unexpected result at Pride Park as we go out of the FA Cup, lads gave it their all and did trouble the Derby goal a few times. Just far far too open at the back and outclassed by their quality. Great support from the yellow army the highlight, onto Barnet away this weekend. COYY
