TUST UPDATE
FOREVER YELLOW – HELP US REACH £100,000
BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS
| After the disappointment of coming so close, but ultimately missing out on promotion, the Supporters Trust Board has reflected on what has still been a hugely significant year for TUST and, more importantly, what we can achieve together moving forward. This season, as well as our appointed board members having a voice in key club matters, members’ contributions have made a tangible difference both on and off the pitch. Before a ball was kicked, TUST funded the purchase of two sets of grass grow lights, helping maintain and support the Plainmoor pitch throughout the season. Away from the pitch, we funded and installed new handrails in Bristow’s Bench to improve accessibility for supporters, while also making a sizeable contribution towards the new digital big screen — something I’m sure regular visitors to Plainmoor will agree has been a massive upgrade. Perhaps the clearest example yet of TUST’s growing ability to directly support the football club came when we helped fund the mid-season loan signings of Joe Hatch, Ed James, Keiran Wilson and Will Tizzard, with Will in particular playing a huge role in our late promotion push. All of this demonstrates the power of the Supporters Trust, backed by you — our members — and what can be achieved when we come together with a shared goal. Last month we launched our new membership scheme, Forever Yellow, with a range of membership tiers and associated benefits as we work towards generating a minimum of £100,000 annually to support the football club. Funds raised through Forever Yellow will be invested into three key areas:First Team OperationsYouth DevelopmentStadium Experience Members can also choose where they would like their contributions directed. If you want to help strengthen the playing budget or support future loan signings to aid Jimmy Ball’s promotion push next season, you can choose First Team Operations. If supporting the next generation of TUFC talent matters most to you, you can direct your support towards Youth Development. Or, if you want to continue improving the matchday experience at Plainmoor, you can select Stadium Experience.Members can choose any combination of these areas when selecting their membership tier. |

| In addition to the benefits already listed on our website, The Bryn Consortium has also committed to hosting two Fans’ Forums specifically aimed at meeting with exiled TUST members. Platinum, Gold and Silver members will receive priority access to these events, which will take place ahead of selected away fixtures next season. The response to Forever Yellow so far has been fantastic. Over 35% of our existing members have already upgraded to one of the new tiers, meaning we have already reached £70,326 — over 70% of the way towards our £100,000 target. That is an incredible effort from our loyal Yellow Army — but we now want to make one big push over the summer to reach the target before the new season begins. Reaching £100,000 projected annual income would provide sustainable annual revenue for the football club, helping us to hopefully go one step further next season in pursuit of promotion, continue developing future TUFC stars, and keep improving Plainmoor for all supporters. If you haven’t yet upgraded your membership, you can do so here: www.tust.co.uk/join Digital membership cards for Silver, Gold and Platinum members will be issued soon, allowing members to begin redeeming benefits. Look out for further details. We also hope to announce our first prize draws for Silver, Gold & Platinum members as well as our first “Meet the” event for Platinum Members in the coming weeks. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. Torquay United Supporters’ Trust Board |
