OPPOSITION Q&A

Andy discusses Exmouth Town
THE VISIT OF TORQUAY UNITED
Everyone at the club is very much looking forward to the visit to Torquay United. It’s a big game for us and hopefully should attract a big crowd (Mufftown Casuals out in force).
THE EXMOUTH TOWN SQUAD FOR 22-23
We have managed to retain the full squad from last season, we want to stay loyal to the lads that got us promoted. In saying this we have a number of quality trialists training with us and taking part in our pre-season friendlies. Aaron Denny pulls the strings for us in midfield with Max Gillard (who was voted in for Western League team of the season) in at right back and skipper of our team. We have goals upfront with Jordan Harris and Levi Landricombe, with service from former Plymouth Argyle player Ben Steer.
HILLY!
Working with Hilly for the last four seasons has been enjoyable. With back-to-back promotions Hilly and Rolo have taken the club to the next level. Hilly has time for everyone, he has great attention to detail and we can see why he was so popular at Torquay. I think one day he will manage at a higher level. One word: Quality.

TUESDAY NIGHT AND BEYOND
Tuesday night’s kick off at Southern Road is 7.30pm, we are well placed for supporters travelling by bus, train or car, and very close to Exmouth town centre. We have three home friendlies and four away, including Exeter City Academy and Tiverton Town. We have some of the best supporters in non-league football, they all get involved with projects around the ground. Everybody gets a warm welcome when they visit Exmouth Town.
Our next fixture is Saturday 16th July – our second pre-season friendly versus Southern League Div 1 side, Willand Rovers; also at Homers Heath with a 3pm kick off. Following that on Tuesday 19th July we are back at the Heath again, fielding against newly-promoted side, Plymouth Parkway with a 7:30pm kick off.
