Why TUFC?: My Dad lived near Torquay when he was young. He’s always supported them since and, as my favourite colour is yellow, it seemed like a very easy choice when I was little. There’s no other team quite like Torquay United.
Year started supported TUFC and 1st game?: 1996 (well that’s when I can remember loving football from). My first game was at the old Wembley stadium in 1998 where we lost to Colchester. My first Plainmoor game was soon after.
Favourite all-time TUFC players?: Kevin Hill, Jo Kuffour, Bobby Olejnik, Eifion Williams, Alex Russell
Best TUFC memory?: So many! But perhaps the play-off final when Tim Sills secured our promotion at Wembley wearing his Zorro mask!
Worst TUFC memory?: Difficult, I always thought our second relegation to the conference was the worst but actually the reality of being a Conference South side really hurt. We weren’t even eligible for BBC Sport updates then! It felt like we were in a desperate position with no way out.
Favourite spot at Plainmoor?: Middle of the popside, couldn’t imagine standing anywhere else but in the thick of it and love standing up for a football game. I’m always particularly happy if I get one of the metal bars to lean on throughout the game.
