Manager: Dave Diaper
Manager Dave Diaper joined the Boatmen as manager in 1999 from B.A.T, when Sholing were known as Vosper Thorneycroft and were playing in the Hampshire League. A former Southampton Schools & Hampshire representative player, Diaper’s previous clubs include Cadnam, BHC (IoW), Pirelli, AC Delco, Otterbourne & Netley Vics. With over 1,100 games as manager under his belt for the Boatmen, along with 11 major honours – including the club’s 2014 FA Vase triumph, Diaper is part of a select group of managers and amongst the most experienced in non-league football circles.
One to watch: Dan Mason
