TUFC Tweets of the Week – 16/11/19

Sam Jones – @samuellejones

What is it with United and the Cup? Another FA Cup game, another embarrassing defeat to a lower league team. However, all is not lost. The Gulls return to League action on Saturday hoping to push on towards another League title.

I know we are all giddy with anticipation, so shall we have some Tweets of the Week to celebrate?

5 – The NLS hasn’t changed.

Anyone remember when we were in the National League South? I do, and it was great. Despite that, one of theirs still managed to beat us on Saturday with a very small keeper indeed!

4 – Shaggery at its finest

Jamie Reid, Lord Reid, Reidy the Prince of Park Lane. All these names don’t do him justice. The local lad has been fantastic this season, once again prooving to everyone why he is good enough for the division. Just see for yourself.

3 – What are your football hates?

The fantastic TorquayTalk podcast are looking for your football things to put in Room 101. Hosted by Marcus “Frank Skinner” Arscott, he’ll be deciding with the rest of the TT Pod crew whether its worthy or not. Send them your suggestions now!

2 – Welcome Ramarni!

After an unfortunate injury to Diz, and no Sam Chaney in sight, we needed a left back. Step up Ramarni Medford-Smith who has joined us from Reading on a short term loan. Looking forward to seeing you strut your stuff on Saturday!

1 – Win or lose, we’re on the Buse.

What a month this lad has had! The midfielder joined us from Taunton in the summer but has now cemented his place in the heart of the midfield. With some fantastic displays and a goal or two, the blonde bombshell was awarded the Vanarama Player of the Month award. He looks ecstatic!
