TT PREVIEW

Max discusses his team
SEASON SO FAR
The season so far has been diabolical, sat bottom of the league, knocked out the FA Cup I don’t think there’s much more to add to that.
RECENT FORM
Again relegation form, the reason we are sat bottom is that we can’t win a game of football, I honestly believed the win at Totton would give us the stepping stone we needed but not another win since. I will say however we grinded out a point against Ebsfleet who are a full time team with some excellent footballers.
EX-GULLS JANNEH & THOMAS
In fairness I haven’t seen enough of either yet to have a strong opinion but they haven’t put a foot wrong yet and hopefully that continues.
KEY PLAYERS
One key player for me is Johnny Goddard, sometimes when watching him you can just see his talent, that’s why he is nicknamed the magician, let’s hope he can make your defenders disappear and we might score some goals.
THE MANAGER
Well ultimately in my eyes Alan Julian is the reason where we are in the table, he was totally out of his depth and should have never got the job in the first place which is a question many fans are asking the board, nice bloke but terrible manager. Now we have Henry Ochieng (Club Captain), Ryan Case (Academy Manager) and Goddard himself taking control of the team and they can’t do a worse job than the man before them.
POSSIBLE LINE-UP
Struggled to put a team together but here goes,
Bausor, Morrison, Quansah, Gregory, Francis, Spencer, Adeniran, Goddard, Holness, Janneh, Myers
MOVING UP THE NLS?
I hope so, it’s gonna be a long old season, I’ll tell you that!
THE NEW ID
What do Slough fans think of the Identisurge compulsory ID for 14-20’s? A lot of the older Slough fans can’t stand the decision, I’m not gonna lie and say it’s never kicked off at Slough but when it has it’s never been Kids/Young Adults. I feel more for away fans coming to the ground as it’s another barrier to watching their team on a Tuesday/Saturday. I don’t know how long it will last but many don’t want it to be a permanent feature of the match day experience at Arbour Park.
AWAY FOLLOWING
When fixtures come out Torquay is one that most of us look for, many have booked hotels etc, I myself won’t be there as I’m off to watch Arsenal but I’m sure they’ll be a strong number of Rebels in attendance.
BEST OPPOSITION
Salisbury are probably the best team I’ve seen and also the most ruthless team we’ve faced, just seemed like every attack was a goal.
PREDICTION
The bookies will have you strong favourites, everyone looking at the game will have it a bang on home win but hopefully we can be Rebels like our name and grind out a result, I’ll go 1-1.
