MANAGER – JAMES PHILLIPS
Stoneham manager James Phillips oversaw the most successful season in the Purples’ history in the 2025-26 campaign, as he guided them to a quadruple that included the Southampton Senior Cup, the Russell Cotes Cup, the Wessex Premier Division title and the FA Vase.
The latter was secured at Wembley against Cockfosters FC, which they won 4-2 on penalties after drawing 0-0 in normal time.
PLAYER PROFILE – JAKE THOMSON
Many of the Plainmoor faithful will remember Jake Thomson from his loan spell with the Gulls during the 2009-10 season under Paul Buckle from Southampton, making 23 appearances and scoring once.
He then joined Exeter City in the summer of 2010 before appearing for a whole host of clubs, most notably Forest Green Rovers, Newport County and Salisbury City. Thomson, who has also been capped by Trinidad and Tobago twice, is currently in his third spell with the Purples, which saw him return to the club as a player-coach.
