He was previously in charge of Hemel Hempstead, who he took charge of during the 2024-25 season when he succeeded Bobby Wilkinson, following five years in charge of Hendon. Allinson is also the son of former Arsenal midfielder Ian Allinson, who previously managed Boreham Wood and St Albans City.
PLAYER PROFILE – HARRY BEAUTYMAN
A familiar face to United fans from his time with Sutton United, Harry Beautyman was part of a whole host of new signings who joined the Daggers in the summer of 2026 from Woking.
A goal scoring threat from midfield, Beautyman played a major role in establishing Sutton as a force to be reckoned with in the National League and helped them to achieve promotion to the EFL in 2020-21. After beginning his career with Leyton Orient, Beautyman originally joined the U’s in 2011 and stayed until 2013 when he joined Welling United before returning to the Football League to sign for Peterborough United in 2015. Spells at Northampton Town and Stevenage followed before Beautyman made the return to Gander Green Lane in 2018.

LAST MEETING
Last meeting: Saturday 21st March, Dagenham & Redbridge 1 Torquay United 0
A wonder strike from George Marsh, directly from a corner, proved to be the difference in the battle of the debutant managers between Andy Carroll’s Dagenham and Redbridge and Jimmy Ball’s Torquay United.
The Daggers, who also had new shareholder KSI in attendance, threatened to draw first blood on seven minutes when Stan Leech connected with a cross from Harvey Broad, which was scrambled behind for a corner.
Leech went close again for the hosts in the 21st minute when he nodded a Reggie Young cross over.
On 35 minutes, Gulls’ winger Dylan Morgan fired a low drive across the face of goal.
Three minutes later, United won a corner that was cleared as far as Morgan, and his lofted ball into the box was flicked on by Jordan Dyer towards debutant striker Deon Moore, who forced a save from Daggers keeper Sam Howes.
On the stroke of half time, Dan Hayfield headed a Sonny Blu Lo-Everton corner over for the Gulls.
In the second half, Daggers’ Dylan Stephenson was denied by a block from United skipper Jay Foulston, which went behind for a corner, on 52 minutes.
In the 75th minute, the Daggers finally broke the deadlock when Marsh’s corner found the back of the net.
Arguably United’s best chance of an equaliser came in injury time when Matt Jay tested Howes with a long range strike, which the Daggers parried and recovered to smother when Moore looked to pounce on the rebound.
