MANAGER – LEE BRADBURY
Isle of Wight born Lee Bradbury took charge of the Daggers in the summer of 2025, following their relegation from the National League. His managerial career began in 2011, when he succeeded Eddie Howe as manager of AFC Bournemouth on a caretaker basis, before he was appointed on permanent basis. In his first season, the 2010-11 campaign, he led the Cherries to the League One play-offs. However, a poor run of form saw him dismissed in March 2012.
Later that year, Bradbury was appointed as manager of Havant and Waterlooville, who he guided to back-to-back promotions between the Isthmian Premier Division to the National League in successive seasons – 2016-17 & 2017-18 – before they were relegated back to National League South in the 2018-19 campaign.
He then left the Hawks in 2019 and then a brief spell as Eastbourne Borough manager, which was followed by a stint as assistant manager to John Yems at Crawley Town – a position which he held until his appointment as Eastleigh manager in February 2022.
As a player, Bradbury started out in the professional game with Portsmouth in 1995 after leaving the Army and later earned moves to Manchester City and Crystal Palace. Spells with Walsall, Oxford United and Southend United then followed before he finished his playing career with AFC Bournemouth in 2011.
PLAYER PROFILE – ASHLEY HEMMINGS
Many Gulls fans will probably remember Ashley Hemmings from his loan spell at Plainmoor from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2010-11 season. He then went on to have loan spells with Plymouth Argyle and Cheltenham Town before he left Wolves in 2012. Hemmings is currently in his second spell with the Daggers, after having spent two years at Victoria Road between 2014 and 2016. He rejoined the Daggers in the summer after winning the National League North player of the year and golden boot awards with Kidderminster Harriers in 2024-25.

LAST MEETING
Last meeting: Saturday 25th March 2023, Torquay United 1 Dagenham & Redbridge 2
A late brace from Inih Effiong saw Dagenham and Redbridge secure a first win in charge for manager Ben Strevens against Torquay United.
Aaron Jarvis’ strike of the stroke of half time gave the Gulls the lead, but Inih Effiong equalised from the penalty spot before completing his double in injury time.
The Daggers went close in the seventh minute when Jay Bird’s header from a Josh Hare corner was easily saved by United keeper Mark Halstead.
Ten minutes later, the Gulls went close when a cross from Oldham Athletic loanee George Stobbs found skipper Asa Hall, who nodded wide.
Stobbs was in the thick of the action again for United in the 21st minute when his long range shot was palmed behind by Daggers keeper Josh Strizovic.
On 33 minutes, Evans tested Strizovic with a powerful strike from distance, which the Daggers keeper managed to gather at the second attempt.
United broke the deadlock in first half injury time when Kevin Dawson won the ball on the edge of the penalty area. It fell to Jarvis who fired home to score his 14th goal of the season.
In the second half, the Daggers started their search for an equaliser brightly as Mauro Vilhete fired over in the 47th minute.
The Gulls almost doubled their advantage on 55 minutes when Jarvis nodded a free-kick from Dean Moxey into the path of Marshall who nodded wide.
In the 62nd minute, Daggers skipper Matt Robinson forced a routine save from Halstead with a shot from distance.
The Daggers eventually levelled matters on 78 minutes from the penalty spot through Inih Effiong after Marshall felled sub Sydney Ibie.
With a minute to go it appeared that the Gulls had restored their lead when debutant sub Frank Nouble headed home a cross from Lewis Collins, but it was ruled out for offside.
It was then left for the Daggers to win in injury time as Effiong cut in from the left and drilled a low shot past Halstead to seal the win for the visitors.
