TT INTERVIEW
Chris talks about the Seagulls
ABOUT ME
I have been following the Seagulls since 2007, first game was at home to Bognor Regis (score that day 3-1 to Bognor). Been following home and away and love ticking off new grounds.
FORM
1 win in our last 9 league games but did make it through a few rounds of the FA Cup.
HIGHLIGHTS
Highlight so far has to be beating Bath at Twerton Park 6-2, gone a bit downhill since that day though.
KEY PLAYERS
Key players to watch are Lloyd Humphries at the back and James Dodd in the middle. Unfortunately we are missing 2 key players with both Marlon Jackson and Dayle Grubb out for the past few games (hoping they make a return Tuesday but not sure). Our new loan signing Robbie Willmot looked a tidy player on his debut on Saturday! Luke Pearce will also be up for it on Tuesday after his loan spell with yourselves earlier in the season.
LINE-UP
I would assume it’ll be a similar lineup to our defeat to Braintree. Hoping a few players will be back from injury, as we have been a bit threadbare over the past month or so, but we are gradually getting the squad back together.
PRE-MATCH REFRESHMENTS
The clubhouse is a decent size at the ground and is a good spot for a drink before the game! Plenty of bars and restaurants down the seafront too.
FACTS ABOUT WSM
Current England International and Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins used to play for us on loan for Exeter City. He was a cut above the rest and you could just tell he was going to go far! Lovely guy and deserves all his success!
BEST OPPOSITION
Not sure any sides have stood out yet to me, Yeovil have looked a bit fitter than the others but technically I feel it’s a strong league this season and is why no team is really running off with it and lots of teams taking points off each other.
PREDICTION
Our form has to change soon and we are due some luck. With the squad we have I know they can do it but confidence seems to be an issue at the moment! With you guys scoring well on Saturday, we really need to tidy up at the back or it could get messy! I’m going to go for WsM 1-1 Torquay.
