MANAGER – TIM SILLS
A player who needs no introduction to the Yellow Army, Tim Sills spent two-and-a-half years at Plainmoor between 2007 and 2010, and played a key role in spearheading the Gulls’ return to the Football League in the 2008-09 season.
He famously headed home Wayne Carlisle’s 74th minute cross in the 2009 Blue Square Premier final against Cambridge United to score the Gulls’ second goal of the afternoon, which helped clinch United’s return to the Football League.
After leaving Plainmoor in January 2010, Sills has had spells with Stevenage, Rushden & Diamonds (loan), Aldershot Town, Basingstoke Town, Bashley, Gosport Borough, Weymouth and Blackfields and Langley.
As a manager, he took charge of Hamworthy United in 2019 and led them to the Wessex Premier League title and to the semi-finals of the FA Vase in the 2021-22 season. He was appointed as manager of Wimborne in October 2022.
