THE WEEK AHEAD
Monday – FA Trophy 3rd round draw
The Gulls’ enter this years FA Trophy at the third round stage. The draw will be made on Monday as United await their opponents who they will face on 17th December.
Saturday – TUFC v Gateshead @ Plainmoor (15.00 KO)
It’s a six-pointer at Plainmoor as Gateshead come to town. Torquay know anything less than 3 points is disastrous as they look to pull away from the dreaded drop zone.
Saturday – Yeovil Town U18’s v TUFC U18’s @ Alvington Playing Fields(10.30 KO)
United head to Somerset seeking their fifth win of the season. The Gulls’ recorded a 3-0 win over Wimborne last weekend.
Sunday – Bournemouth Sports v TUWFC (13.00 KO)
The Ladies’ are back in cup action away at Boutnemouth Sports.
PLAYED FOR BOTH
Current Gateshead manager and former player Mike Williamson began his career at Plainmoor. Gary Brabin had loan spells at both clubs. Ryan Bowman and Toby Ajala both left Plainmoor for Gateshead, as did Ruairi Keating back in 2019.
BIRTHDAYS
Michael Poke – United’s former #1 will turn 37 on Monday.
Liam Davis – The popular former left back will celebrate turning 36 Wednesday
Danny Stevens – The pint-sized winger also turns 36 on Friday.
