OPPOSITION Q&A

David discusses Alty ahead of the game on BT Sports
SEASON SO FAR
It’s been a slow start, points wise but improved in recent weeks.
EXPECTATIONS FOR 22-23
My expectations were very mixed as the club decided to transition to full time in the close season, which led to an exodus of experienced part timers. So staying up this season is the main goal.
RECENT FORM
Our league form has improved recently as the team starts to gel a little.
KEY PLAYERS
Marcus Dinanga at No 9 has found some form scoring 5 in 5 games, so helping with our improvement in form.

THE MANAGER & LINE-UP
Phil Parkinson, now at the reigns of a full time outfit for first time. Tends to go 4-2-3-1 but recently started amending that based upon opposition. Depending on injuries I’d expect Byrne, Jones, Cooper, Mullarkey, Barrows, Osborne, Lundstram, Hulme, Conn Clarke, Dinanga, Colclough.
IMPRESSIVE OPPOSITION PLAYERS
Olley from Gateshead stood out, good solid player and ability to grab a goal.
STRENTHS & WEAKNESSES
Weak point is defensive errors and plus point is No.9 Dinanga now scoring regularly.
AWAY FOLLOWING & PREDICTION
As it’s on BT then think we’ll bring around 100 supporters. I’ll say a 1-1 draw.
