THE WEEK AHEAD

Monday – FA Cup 1st round draw @ 19.15

The result on Saturday, albeit disappointing, has at least kept United’s’ interest in the FA Cup intact. The draw will be shown on BBC Two around 19.15pm. The Gulls’ or H&R will be ball number 64.

Tuesday – Hampton & Richmond v TUFC @ Beveree Stadium (19.45 KO)

An un-scheduled and unwanted replay for Torquay as they now have to negotiate a tricky away trip in London. The fixtures are piling up for GJ’s men, as they play the first of 4 consecutive Tuesday night games.

Saturday – TUFC v Altrincham @ Plainmoor (17.20 KO)

The BT hierarchy have picked a barnstormer to show as bottom of the League hosts 16th. The situation at Plainmoor remains desperate, with now no win in their opening 7 home games. A win is crucial for the Gulls’, to stop them being cast adrift of safety at this early stage of the season. Altrincham in contrast have won 3 of their last 4 league games.

Saturday – Swindon Supermarine v TUFC U18’s @ Swindon Supermarine FC (10.30 KO)

Buoyed by their FA Youth Cup triumph over Bishops Cleeve, the young Gulls’ return to league action away at Swindon. Ryan Dickson’s men have played just one league this season with cup commitments, but will look to make it 2 out of 2 in Wiltshire.

Sunday – TUWFC v Royal Wootton Bassett Ladies @ Coach Road, Devon FA (14.00 KO)

The Ladies’ host RWB at Devon FA HQ, looking to progress in the cup.
