Before going into management, Duncan had a 13-year playing career as a midfielder with spells at Wealdstone, Uxbridge & Slough Town. Murray joined Potters Bar as a player in 2016/17 from Chalfont St Peter, and his former sides include Northwood, Hendon, Uxbridge and North Greenford United.

One to watch: Sam Beasant

The son of the former Wimbledon, Chelsea and England keeper Dave Beasant, Sam Beasant has faced the Gulls on numerous occasions in recent years. After appearing as a youth team player with Chelsea and Wycombe Wanderers, Beasant junior had spells with Olympiakos Nicosia and the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain before returning to England with Maidenhead United, Woking, Billericay, Stevenage, Cambridge United, Braintree Town, Chelmsford City and Concord Rangers.
