TorquayTalk Goals of the Season 18-19

Sam Jones – @samuellejones

The season is over, the title has been won and Gary Johnson is our manager. What could be better? If you said Goals of the Season, then you’d be right!

Now we’ve had time to reflect, TorquayTalk have compiled their best eight goals of the season.

Let us know which is your favourite by commenting or by voting in the poll below, or feel free to point out which obvious screamer we have missed.

A – Jake Andrews vs Eastbourne Borough – 13th October 2018

Stunning curler from 25 yards by the Bristol City loanee.

B – Jamie Reid vs Concord Rangers – 17th November 2018

Reidy channelling his inner Gerrard to smash the ball in from range.

C – Saikou Janneh vs Welling United – 8th December 2018

Cool side footed finish from the youngster.

D – Kalvin Lumbombo-Kalala vs Truro City – 26th December 2018

Smashing finish over the keeper the sparkling young Frenchman.

E – Asa Hall vs Truro City – 26th December 2018

Captain Fantastic with a stunning chip over the keeper.

F – Ben Wynter vs Slough Town – 5th January 2019

Pavard-esque strike leaving the keeper with no chance.

G – Connor Lemonheigh-Evans vs Chelmsford City – 2nd April 2019

Connor channels his inner-Messi to split open the Chelmsford defence.

H – Jamie Reid Vs. Woking – 6th April 2019

Smashing finish, but that ball from Ruairi…

There were so many more that we could have added, with Keating’s vs Dartford and Kalala’s vs Hampton and Richmond Borough among many others. How nice it is to actually have more than about 10 goals all season to choose from?!?!
