SEASON SO FAR

It has been a great season so far overall! Start of the season I think a lot of us expected to be around mid table after seeing a lot of teams strengthen in the summer but for a lot of sides that hasn’t worked out. We have been holding our own which is great to see! We have a lot of injuries with a lot out long term which hasn’t helped but we have recruited replacements well.

RECENT FORM

We have played well in recent games but have been unlucky especially in the games against Worthing and Hemel to not have come away with more and hopefully won’t be looking at the dropped points come the end of the season.

HIGHLIGHTS

Highlight has to be making the FA Cup 3rd Round and a trip to Grimsby! Massive moment for the club and its history!

PROMOTION CHANCES

I think we will make the playoffs! It’ll be close as a lot of teams are ‘throwing it away’ at points recently so I think it’s pretty open with who can make it but I think we will be there!

KEY PLAYERS

Emlyn Lewis at the back has been superb all season! Arguably the best CB in the league! Max Harris in goal has kept a lot of clean sheets and of course Louis Britton has been top goal scorer providing goals in massive moments!

PRE-MATCH

With it being Easter weekend, I’d say anywhere down the seafront but it could be rammed this weekend!

THE MANAGER

Scott Rogers is brilliant! Really likeable guy who has brought the club together after the departure of the former manager earlier in the season! He has got us playing some great football! Solid at the back and uses the width to create chances! The grass pitch helps as well to play our style of football, it’s like a carpet! Much better than the 3G nonsense at some clubs in the league!

BEST OPPOSITION

Best team I have seen play us in the league would be Dorking I think, though this is the first season in a while I’ve not been blown away by a team and thought ‘there’s your league winners’.
