MANAGER – MARC WHITE
After founding the club with a group of mates in the Crawley and District League in 1999, Marc White’s journey with Dorking Wanderers has been nothing short of astonishing since.
Under White’s guidance, Wanderers switched to the West Sussex League which they enjoyed a meteoric rise through before eventually reaching the Isthmian League Premier Division, which they won in the 2018-19 campaign to earn promotion to National League South.
Two years later, they reached the National League after defeating Ebbsfleet United to win the National League South Play-offs. The Wanderers since retained their National League status for two years prior to their first ever relegation in 2023-24.
PLAYER PROFILE – PAUL MCCALLUM
Many United fans will probably remember Paul McCallum from his loan spell with the Gulls in the 2013-14 campaign.
He began his career in the youth system at Dulwich Hamlet before earning a move to West Ham United in 2011. While with the Hammers, he gained senior experience through loan spells at Rochdale, AFC Wimbledon, Aldershot Town and the Gulls, followed by further loans with Heart of Midlothian and Portsmouth.
A permanent move to Leyton Orient followed in 2015, where he scored 11 league goals across two seasons, before joining Eastleigh in 2017. During his first spell with the Spitfires, he netted 35 league goals in two seasons. He is the second player to join our ranks today with experience at both AFC Wimbledon and Dagenham & Redbridge, where he established himself as a consistent performer at National League level.
Returning to Eastleigh in 2023, Paul enjoyed his most prolific campaign to date, finishing the 2023-24 season as the National League’s top scorer with 31 league goals. He recently joined the Wanderers on loan from the Spitfires.
