TT PREVIEW

James discusses his team
TITLE WINNERS?
Tough question because still a few games left & this one in particular first up. I think once this one is done, when we are back to Saturday’s and no more midweeks I may feel more confident. I’m sitting on the fence a touch but I really hope so.
HIGHLIGHTS
Highlights for me have been generally all the home games as that’s where our strengths are. Farnborough at home was a good game & the Hornchurch and Ebbsfleet wins also were right up there.
RECENT FORM
Recent form is patchy, and a touch inconsistent. It’s hard to get the same X1 on the pitch due to injuries. Up and down much like yourselves.
KEY PLAYERS
At the moment, Harrison Foulkes the keeper, Harry Pinchard and probably Charlie Carter are the key players for us.
NEW SIGNINGS
The signings have settled well, they had no choice as most had to play immediately and had little time to bed in. Sam Pearson scored after 16 seconds, but Harry Pinchard is the main one for me – looks like an exceptional footballer and has immediately settled.
AWAY SUPPORT
I hope they’ll be a good number. But it’s tough scheduling isn’t it. End of the month, Tuesday night and the furthest away game. Potentially some local support to come in the away end, so fingers crossed for some good support. We need it and deserve it.
BEST OPPOSITION
Oddly Chippenham played some of the best football against us. Hornchurch were very hard to break down, and Chelmsford were decent at ours recently as well.
JIMMY BALL
The Totton game was a while ago (Sept) and we won 2-1 but I remember them being strong and physical. I don’t know whether he’ll have had much of a chance to impose his style on the team yet, maybe in our favour.
PREDICTION
I’m gonna go 1-1 which will be fine for us I think.
