TT PREVIEW

Giles discusses his team
SEASON SO FAR
I would say that Chesham have shocked lots of people this season and have made a step up from last season and learnt a lot on and off the pitch last season in the clubs first season in the National league and we have been competitive in almost every league game this season.
RECENT FORM
Chesham have been in great form in 2026 having only lost 2 league matches we recently gaining 4 points from 4 games against teams in the promotion/play-off places.
HIGHLIGHTS
Highlights of this season, started on the first game with a 2-1 win at Maidenhead after their relation from the league above and also recent scoring 4 goals in one half against Chippenham away, Ebbsfleet & Weston Super Mare at Home.
KEY PLAYERS
Key players for Chesham, Alex Lefleur, which I’m sure I don’t need to remind Torquay fans why, also Mitchell Weiss, who will give everything and cover every blade of grass on the pitch.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
The Joint Managers James Duncan and Michael Murray are a key duo who have built a great squad of players that play as a team and able to get the best out of them.
PROMOTION CHANCES
What fan wouldn’t fancy the chance of getting in the play-off, but the leap to the next level might be at present just a bit to big for the club.
BEST OPPOSITION
The best team we have played against this season was Chelmsford away, who controlled that game and Dagenham where good in both games against us.
AWAY FOLLOWING
I believe a good number of Chesham fans have planned to make the trip to Torquay, some making a weekend of it, others just for the day.
PREDICTION
My prediction given Chesham good form will be an away win by 1 goal, with that man Alex Lefleur having a hand in it. Which the result will please my Torquay friend who I’ll be spending the weekend with in Scotland, not Torquay unfortunately as he has stated who ever wins is buying the beers Saturday night, so obviously doesn’t fancy Torquay chances.
