MANAGER – BRIAN DUTTON
Brian Dutton was appointed as Salisbury FC manager in October 2022, following the departure of Steve Claridge. He then went on to lead the club to promotion from the Southern League Premier through the play-offs against AFC Totton in his first full season in charge, the 2023-24 campaign.
As a player, he had a brief spell in the Football League with Cambridge United in the 2003-04 season before dropping into non-league football, where he had stints with a number of clubs, including both Salisbury City and Salisbury FC.
As a coach, Dutton has held several different coaching roles at Bristol Rovers across two different spells at the Memorial Stadium and he briefly managed Walsall.

Josh joined the Lilywhites from Didcot Town in the summer of 2023 after helping Didcot achieve promotion from the Southern League Division One Central. A key component of the Salisbury side who won promotion to National League South in 2023-24, Hedges went onto ten goals in 30 league appearances in 2024-25. In the summer of 2025, he joined Chelmsford City but returned to Wiltshire after failing to settle in Essex.

Torquay United got their first away victory of the season as they won 1-0 at Salisbury in National League South.
Matt Worthington converted Jay Foulston’s eighth-minute cross to score what proved to be the decisive goal. Jordan Young could have doubled the lead but his 31st minute penalty was saved while Worthington also had a chance to add to Torquay’s tally soon after.
Matt Briggs had a good chance to level the scores with 20 minutes left but was thwarted by James Hamon as Torquay consolidated third place in the table.
