MANAGER – SCOTT ROGERS

Scott Rogers joined Weston as Scott Bartlett’s assistant in the summer of 2023, and was then appointed first-team manager in October 2025 after Bartlett had departed for the manager’s job at Eastleigh. Rogers had been the manager of Tiverton Town, alongside his family
member Martyn Rogers.

Before being in charge at Tivvy, Scott was also player-manager at Willand Rovers, who he led to the fourth qualifying
round of the FA Cup in the 2014-15 season.

His playing career took in the likes of Forest Green Rovers, Weston, Bath City, Newport County and Tiverton, where he scored the only goal in the 1999 FA Vase Final against Bedlington Terriers, the penultimate final played at the old Wembley Stadium.

A former Manchester City academy product, Luke Coulson spent some time in college football in the USA at the University of Michigan, which he combined with playing for the Michigan Wolverines. He returned to the UK to join Cardiff City before dropping into non-league football with Oxford City in 2015 and later moved onto Eastleigh, Barnet, Ebbsfleet United and Bromley prior to signing for the
Dartford in 2022. Luke signed for the Seagulls in the summer of 2024 following the expiration of his contract with Dartford.

Torquay United fought back to earn a point after falling behind against Weston Super Mare at the Optima Stadium.
The Seagulls edged ahead when James Dodd blasted in off the bar after United had failed to deal with a 24th-minute corner. Matt Jay then scored his second goal in as many games 11 minutes after half-time to seal a point as he blasted in from close range when Jordan
Young’s shot was saved.

The result, which came after the Gulls threw away a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 at Chelmsford City on Saturday moved Paul Wotton’s side up to sixth in National League South.
