TT PREVIEW

Adi discusses their team
SEASON SO FAR
We’re still over the moon with our first half of the season, despite our recent form taking a dip.
RECENT FORM
As I say, we’ve taken a bit of a dip in form recently, owing to our FA Cup run, reaching the 1st Round and a few knocks and suspensions all accumulating at the same time.
KEY PLAYERS
For me this season so far it would be either Christie Ward (CM) or Christos Batzelis (LWB) – both in their first season at the club and both excelling as important first team players.
BEST OPPOSITION
Worthing, no question. The football they played against us in their 4-0 victory was on par with that of at least a division above. Equally Macclesfield in the FA Cup were very good – you have to be to score 6!
TALKING TACTICS
I think we like to focus on playing good football when we can, but our attention is always on being tough to beat and making opponents work hard for anything they may get off of us.
POSSIBLE LINE UP
Genuinely with the injuries and suspensions at the moment, you’d have to ask the manager – we’ve had 4 recent signings, 3 loans and 1 permanent, so we’re unsure as supporters at the moment.
SEASON HIGHLIGHT
Naturally the FA Cup run was fantastic, obviously beating yourselves in there is a big thing for us. I think also supporters were very happy with our start to the season – beating the likes Weston, Hemel and taking a point from Hornchurch away is all pretty impressive for new boys!
PLAY-OFF CHANCES
I wouldn’t think so, but you never know. We’d be more than happy with a mid table finish – top half would be astounding but feel the playoffs are one step too far this time. Let’s steady the ship and see next year.
PREDICTION
Given that we’ve won one and lost one against you guys this season, I think it has a draw written all over it… 1-1.
