PLAYER PROFILE – MASON BLOOMFIELD
Mason Bloomfield started his career with Dagenham & Redbridge back in 2014, before dipping into non-league with the likes of Chelmsford City, Billericay Town, Grays Athletic, Witham Town, Brentwood Town and Aveley.
The Westminster-born striker made a return to the Daggers in March 2017, before earning a move to Championship side Norwich City the following summer. During his time in East Anglia, loan spells up and down the country followed at Hamilton Academical, AFC Fylde and then Crawley Town.
Mason became a new recruit for Hartlepool United for the start of the 2020-21 season, where he scored twice in 22 appearances. A move to Barnet materialised at the start of the following 2021-22 campaign, as he found the net three times on 20 occasions before switching to Bromley in February 2022 for an undisclosed fee. Bloomfield scored twice in 13 appearances for the Ravens and is a Wembley winner, having helped Bromley to FA Trophy glory in a 1-0 victory over Wrexham in the final in front of over 46,000 spectators.
The striker secured a move to North East Hampshire in late in December 2022, where he ended the season with 11 goals in 21 appearances. Bloomfield joined Hampton & Richmond Borough for the 2023-24 season, finding the net on ten occasions in 39 games. He returned to Farnborough for his third spell in June 2025.

LAST MEETING
Last meeting: Saturday 14th December 2024, Torquay United 2 Farnborough FC 0
Torquay United made it four wins out of four in all competitions against Farnborough to move to the top of the National League South table. Two quick-fire goals from Plymouth Argyle loanee Will Jenkins-Davies and Jordan Young inside the opening ten minutes set the Gulls on their way.
The Gulls edged ahead in the fifth minute when Jenkins-Davies latched onto a through ball from Omar Mussa and burst clear of the Farnborough defence before slotting home with his fourth of the campaign. Two minutes later, Jenkins-Davies turned provider to double United’s lead when his ball from the left was chested home by Jordan Young.
Farnborough were forced into an early change when Hady Ghandour went down injured and replaced by Millar Matthews-Lewis on 12 minutes. In the 26th minute, the visitors went close as Joe Haigh went on a solo run before firing over the bar. Seven minutes before the break, Boro player-coach Ricky Holmes cleared the cross bar for the visitors with a volley.
In the second half, the visitors started on the front foot, but couldn’t find the breakthrough in the opening stages. United threatened to add a third in the 58th minute when Mussa found himself through on goal, but he contrived to miss the target. On 67 minutes, debutant United sub Jack Wood almost made an immediate impact – six minutes after coming on – when he cut inside from the right and saw his left-footed shot deflected behind. Holmes went close again for Farnborough in the 81st minute, with a shot that he blasted over.
Deep in injury time, Farnborough sub Millar Matthews-Lewis headed a cross from Richard Chin towards goal, only to be denied by the reflexes of United keeper James Hamon, as the Gulls secured yet another victory.
