TT PREVIEW

James discusses his team
SEASON SO FAR
Been a difficult start so far. Pre season was good but then as usual injuries hit. We’ve probably not fielded the same side two games running as yet and therefore hard to get consistency. We’ve possibly underestimated how strong the league is and sides to our detriment so far but really need to kick on now.
RECENT FORM
Patchy if you simply look at results. Performances have been ok in moments but as Marc says and I agree with, we have work to do in both boxes. We’ve conceded too many goals and haven’t defended our box well and similarly we’ve not scored as many and missed quite a lot of chances.
KEY PLAYERS
At the moment I would pick out Josh Taylor and Alfie Rutherford. Josh has been exceptional in midfield either playing further up or as a deep holding player and Alfie is full of running, creating chances and working very hard up front. He’s probably not scored as many as he would like but I hope a change in fortunes comes soon.
BEST OPPOSITION
I would probably say Hemel. We lost at their place and didn’t really lay a glove on them that day.
TORQUAY (H)
It’ll be tough as always against you. At our place last season the game had nothing in it really until we switched off late on. I think it could be a game of fine margins with perhaps only 1 goal in it or a 0-0.
LINE-UP
Hard to predict at the moment with injuries but
Foulkes, Camp, Storey, Vincent, Muitt, Taylor, McShane, Moore, Lewis, Rutherford, Prior would be my guess.
PRE-MATCH
Most places in town are pretty good, loads of pubs and places to eat and you’ve been a few times to know – or the ground itself which opens at midday.
PREDICTION
Close but I’ll go 1-0 home win.
