TT PREVIEW

James discusses the Stones
PRE-SEASON
JM – Pre-season was okay. Few games where you could see we had a new team and they were getting used to each other, and a few where we looked really good.
NEW SIGNINGS
JM – John Gilbert has proved to be one of our better signings and the return of Jephte Tanga is an exciting prospect.
HOPES AND EXPECTATIONS
JM – Again we have had to build an almost new entire squad. So it’s hard to say. I think most fans expect us to be there or thereabouts, but for me I think we could just fall short of play-offs.
FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON
JM – We looked really good, we dominated most of the game but unfortunately conceded a last minute equaliser. I think there were lots of signs of promise.
THE MANAGER
JM – George is a good manager, he knows how to get the best out of his players and has plenty of passion.
KEY PLAYERS
JM – John Gilbert and Tanga are ones to watch out for. You’ll have to see why on Saturday.
AWAY FOLLOWING
JM – Should be a good crowd lots of Maidstone and Torquay with a good atmosphere.
PROMOTION CONTENDERS
JM – I think yourselves Dagenham will definitely be there or there abouts and Chelmsford have made some great signings so they will probably be in with a shout.
PREDICTION
JM – I think it will be a close one, I’ll sit on the fence and say 2.2.
