TT PREVIEW

Louie discusses the Tudors
SEASON SUMMARY
Mediocre would be the word I would use to describe it, which makes sense for a club that has finished mid table for the majority of our time in step 2. An amazing start to the season being top off the league, then going on to lose 15 in a row which was hard to take! Most recently it has been enjoyable since Lee came in. Once again mediocre would summarise it. Not great but far from the worst. A 5/10.
RECENT FORM
Pretty good. Three losses in 16 games. I can’t complain. On the back of a loss to St Albans what was far from a good performance. Not sure what to expect going into Saturday based on recent form.
HIGHLIGHTS
Not too many highlights to pick from this year. I know that start of the season felt amazing. Top of the league and we had such high expectations. A game I would have to choose is Slough away. Again that game put us at the top. Slough were unbeaten at home for something silly like a whole year! To go there and beat them was unreal, and the full time scenes were great!
KEY PLAYERS
Player of the season undoubtedly Brandon Barzey. He has been amazing as expected. Every match he has played a big part in. Especially since Lee came in. We have seen a lot more freedom from him, which is important for a player off his ability. Also Kyle Ajayi and Ben Tompkins. The two central defenders have formed a great partnership. Been so important for us a natural leader. Special mention too Mathew Achuba too. What a player, he controls the midfield. Has the ability to beat the opposition midfield in one turn.

THE MANAGER
Lee Allinson joined us in December from step 3 side Hendon. I was banging on about Lee for a while. A manager I feel we were crying out for. A young hungry manager wanting to climb the levels. Lee is a very attacking manager. Loves to get the ball wide with the wingbacks and get loads of balls into the box.
THE FIGHT FOR PROMOTION
Amazing. Showcasing the brilliance of non league. The growth I have seen from having leagues this close is amazing. Everyone is talking about it!
PRE-MATCH
The Crabtree is the best option, just down the road from the ground.
PREDICTIONS
Unfortunately for you guys I think Truro beat St Albans. Other predictions – Torquay draw with Hemel, Eastbourne draw with Wsm, Worthing beat Enfield, Boreham Wood beat Tonbridge, Dorking Beat Chesham.
