TT PREVIEW

Ally discusses the Tinners
SEASON SO FAR
Well since the last meeting it’s somehow got even better, to be top with 3 games to go is beyond our wildest dreams when we would’ve taken staying up at the start of the season, sometimes we just have to pinch ourselves.
RECENT FORM
Recent form has been very good, there’s been the odd blip which is bound to happen in this league as it’s very competitive, but we’re coming into this game off the back of 2 very good away wins especially the one at Worthing, we’re looking good at the moment
HIGHLIGHTS
As I said on New Year’s Day, the main highlight was the Worthing 5-0 on the August Bank Holiday. But since then it’s a toss up between the 2-1 win vs Boreham Wood at home and the 2-1 away win at Worthing. To do the double over a side like Worthing is incredible.
KEY PLAYERS
The key man is obviously Tyler Harvey, 24 goals, join top scorer in the league and everyone knows about him, he’s a gunman. Very well supported by Jaze Kabia who’s fresh off a hat trick at Hornchurch and 16 goals so far this campaign. Further back Dan Lavercombe in goal is a man in form, he’s essential to won us 5 points over the last two games with some incredible saves.
TALKING TACTICS
We like to set up with a solid back 5, full backs like to get forward as well as sometimes one of the wide centre backs. Jephcott is a key in the midfield as he can link the defence and attack. We’ll look to get wide and get balls in the box.

POSSIBLE LINE-UP
With our centre halves missing and an En Neyah injury last Saturday I’d say we’ll go with: Lavercombe; Bell, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Dean, Law, Riley-Lowe; Palfrey, Rooney, Jephcott; Harvey, Kabia.
TALKING PROMOTION
Very cliche but we are taking it one game at a time even as fans, other sides around us also have some tough games, if we can avoid defeat on Friday I think we’ll do it, a lot hinges on this game.
BEST OPPOSITION
Eastbourne have probably been the hardest so far, just so solid defensively I think that’s what frustrated us as we didn’t score against them in either game. Boreham Wood as well were a very good side especially with the ball, but we did manage to crack them eventually.
WOTTON’S RECEPTION
Yeah he’ll definitely get a lively reception! It’s a hard one because he did a lot for the club, the circumstances he had and to do what he did with promotion and then staying in the league was incredible, but I just think his comments about us not being a ‘proper club’ when he joined you guys annoyed our fans a bit, we’ve proven we definitely are.
PRE-MATCH
For away fans definitely a few places in the City Centre like Bunters (very cheap pints, plenty of TVs) and there’s a Spoons if that’s what people prefer. Pubs nearer the ground will be full of home fans, but I’m sure they won’t mind the odd friendly away fan!
PREDICTION
I sat on the fence for the return fixture and said 1-1, I’d take that this time around however I’ve got to be confident, we’re top, strong at home, I’m going to say 2-1 Truro, nothing more than that because we don’t do things easily!
