SEASON SO FAR

The season overall has gone well so far! Still in the hunt for the playoffs which at this time in the season is great to see! Good run in the FA Cup as well and into the semi finals of the County Cup.

RECENT FORM

Our form has been good recently but we have struggled at home this season. In the home table we are currently 15th, whereas the away table we are joint top!

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

Our strength has been the quality and chemistry within the squad, feels like we have a team all on the same page and working towards the same goal. Our weakness has been our home form this season. If we converted a few of the games we threw away into wins, we would be well in the playoffs, maybe even looking at the top!

HIGHLIGHTS

Highlight so far has to be the first round FA Cup game away to Bristol Rovers! Great away day and robbed of the replay by the new rules!

KEY PLAYERS

Luke Coulson has been the star man this season so far, chipping in with goals and assists. Emlyn Lewis has been magic at the back too, with his no-nonsense defending, which every fan wants to see!

THE MANAGER

Scott Bartlett is making a bit of a name for himself in the league, so him and the club must be doing something right! He has built a great squad of players, who can play in multiple positions, so we can rotate if we want to.

POSSIBLE LINE-UP

Line up will be interesting as we have got a lot of injuries in the squad but we also have some players coming back from injuries, so your guess is as good as mine!

PRE-MATCH

I’d say the best place for you guys will be at the club, as you’ll have a bar there (shame you guys don’t offer the away fans a bar!). If anyone’s coming down during the day then anywhere down the seafront like Cabot is probably your best bet!

PLAY-OFF CONTENTION

I think we have a really good chance of making the playoffs this season! The target at the start of the season was to make the playoffs so it’s still on! It’s close in the top 7 race, so I am sure there will be a lot of changes between now and the end of the season.

BEST OPPOSITION

Best teams we have played this season so far are yourselves or Boreham Wood. The difference between part time and full time is noticeable in regard to fitness levels, but we have enough quality to hold our own which is great to see!
