TT PREVIEW

James discusses his team
SEASON SO FAR
We had a really slow start to the season and it really was looking bleak. But we managed to turn our form around, get some loan signings in and went 18 games unbeaten. Since we lost that unbeaten record we have had some tough games, including the likes of yourselves.
RECENT FORM
As I said we had our 18 game unbeaten run, but were beaten by a decent Chesham side. Since then we have lost to Worthing and drawn away to Chelmsford.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
We are very good defensively. Kept the most clean sheets in the league I believe. A weakness is we don’t score enough goals.
HIGHLIGHTS
The whole time we were unbeaten was a really exciting time. Playing well and it just didn’t seem like we were going to lose. That run lasted 4 months which is an incredible achievement.
KEY PLAYERS
Arron Blair upfront is a huge threat. Ben Brookes is a key player, as is Charlie Seaman.
THE MANAGER
Same manager as before George Elokobi. He’s a very passionate manager that demands the best out of his players.
POSSIBLE LINE-UP
There has been a few changes recently so wouldn’t like to guess.
PRE-MATCH
The town centre has plenty of food outlets McDonald’s, BK, subway and Greggs. Many cafes and pubs as well as the Weatherspoons (The Society Rooms) which is just outside Maidstone east station.
ATTENDANCE
Should be a good 3,000 at the game. Would be nice to see some more.
BEST OPPOSITION
Probably have to be Worthing. Maybe you lot from the reverse fixture.
PREDICTION
Think it’ll be close. I’m going for a 1-1 draw. Sitting on the fence. I hope you all have a great day. See you on Saturday.
