TT PREVIEW

Lee discusses his team
SEASON SO FAR
It’s been a bit of mixed bag so far. We have been very good on the road but at home we have not been as successful. We are still sat quite comfortable in mid-table though which is good considering we were tipped for relegation by everyone.
RECENT FORM
Since the turn of the year we have won 2 drawn 1 and lost 2 and in both of the 2 we lost it was only due to very late goals, so we have been competitive in most games.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
We have a very strong plethora of attacking players and everyone chips in with scoring goals even from midfield and defence. Sometimes we can be very slow when playing out from the back and can be caught out with a high press.
KEY PLAYERS
Luke Haines is solid at the back and is the heart of out defence. Will Henry our goalkeeper too has kept us in a game on many a occasion with his saves. Also Tom Mehew who at the moment is on fire from midfield as lot of the play comes through him and has scored 3 in the last 4 games.
THE MANAGER
Gary Horgan is still our gaffer of course and has been since April 2022 and he likes to patiently build up play from the back and when we get into forward areas getting it to the wingers to try and create something.
POSSIBLE LINE-UP
I will try my best with this as Gary does like to change it up a lot. Henry; Bray Haines Grant King; Spokes Andrews; Dawes Mehew Gravata; Parsons (4-2-3-1).
PRE-MATCH
There are a couple choices in town for this as you have The Brunel which is just down the hill from one side of the train station or you have the Old Road Tavern which is on the other side. Both are about a 10 minute walk from the ground
ATTENDANCE
I think with the allure of playing you guys will bring a few through the door so I’m gonna go for 600/700.
BEST OPPOSITION
Other than yourselves who blew us out the park when we visited Plainmoor. I would possibly say Worthing especially with Mo Faal upfront, he was a real handful when we played them.
PREDICTION
A tough one this as we are not great at home but we beat Boreham Wood on Saturday away (you’re welcome by the way!) so I will say its gonna kick us on and I will go for a 2-1 Chippenham win.
