TT PREVIEW

Max discusses his team
SEASON SO FAR
Season so far, it started so well, top of the league at one point, thought this could be a good year for us. Unlucky at Woking (a) in the cup, beating Maidenhead in the SL Classico as unbelievable day but losing 4-0 to Kiddy was a real low. Recently we’ve been on a very poor run, albeit they were away from home. Our home form is unbelievable away not so much but we love a Tuesday night under the lights in SL2, beating Bath, Dorking and Ebsfleet to name a few!
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
Strengths would have to be our attack, its our strongest area, weaknesses would have to be the defence for me, conceding too many goals recently but we signed centre back Hollis and he played well on Saturday.
KEY PLAYERS
Key Player for me has to be Leon Chambers-Parillon he has been unbelievable this year and is a very gifted player.
THE MANAGER
Scott Davies is very much a Manager that values a good changing room, loves a good pass and catching keepers off their line, he’s recently welcomed the birth of his baby daughter as well so congratulations to him!
POSSIBLE LINE-UP
Horlock, Prosper, Bayliss, Hollis, Jackman, Ochieng, Leon, Goddard, Amartey, Spasov, Ogbonna.
PRE-MATCH REFRESHMENTS
The Wheatsheaf pub is the best for match going fans, 15 minute walk from the ground and a good atmosphere but there is also a spoons in town!
CROWD NUMBERS
Hopefully a good crowd on Tuesday, had over a 1000 when we welcomed Dorking under the lights so I expect similar!
BEST OPPOSITION
Best team I’ve seen so far is Boreham Wood and they have a few good attackers including Kwesi Appiah who was very good.
PREDICTION
I have to fancy the Rebels at home, I reckon a 2-1 win to the Rebels but that being said I want to wish all Torquay fans a safe trip up to SL2! Up the Rebels!
