TT PREVIEW

Ali talks about the White Tigers
SEASON SO FAR
Brilliant so far, way above our expectations given our recent circumstances, would never have thought we’d be where we are now.
RECENT FORM
We’ve had a small blip recently but we’ve played some good sides like Maidstone and Weston, we’ve had a real problem with going 1-0 down and seem to only really start playing in the 2nd half of games.
HIGHLIGHTS
I’d say the main highlight for sure is the 5-0 win against Worthing, to blow away a top quality side like that was unbelievable, we’ve also pulled some late points out the bag in injury time against Chippenham, St Albans and Weston recently which is a real testament to our fitness.
KEY PLAYERS
Obviously the main man is Tyler Harvey, it seems like everyone knows about him and that’s not surprising with his goal output this season, he’s a proper number 9 and one of the best in the league. He’s been very well supported by Jaze Kabia, so talented and a different type of striker who’s complimented Harvey very well. Will Dean goes a bit under the radar but what he does in the midfield is excellent, a brilliant passer and works hard.
THE MANAGER
John Askey has been amazing, he’s a proven winner at this level with his success at Macclesfield and York, he’s given us an identity and has got the best out of players who maybe before this season we thought needed moving on. His tactics have been excellent so far and he’s very proactive.
POSSIBLE LINE-UP
I’d say it’ll be our normal system and lineup: Lavercombe; Riley-Lowe, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Harrison, Sanders, Law; Dean, Rooney, Palfrey; Kabia, Harvey
AWAY FOLLOWING
I’d say similar numbers to the FA Trophy game so around 150. What people forget is we’re almost building a fanbase now with us being back home, so to take 150-200 anywhere in our first season back is a great start
STAYING IN CONTENTION
I think we can maintain a play off place, pushing for the title might be a stretch too far, we’ve got a very small squad so by March or so we could have some very tired legs, but a play off place would still be magnificent.
PREDICTION
I’ve seen you guys are in some good form recently, but I want to be positive towards us so I’ll go with a nice 1-1 draw.
