TT – Well done on your player of the month award Jay, you must be happy with that?

JF – Yeah mate buzzing with it tbf, massive thanks to the fans for the vote too, goes a long way!

PERFORMANCES SO FAR

How would you rate your season individually so far out of 10, and what do you think you can improve on?

It’s a hard one to rate personally so I’ll leave that up to the fans to vote but think it’s going well so far and hopefully can continue. There’s always room for improvement in everything so I think I could improve all over really.

TALKING TEAM MATES

Who’s in charge of the pre-match music, and what sort of stuff do you guys listen to?

I’m actually in charge of the pre-match music, we all like a bit of everything. Mainly go with some summer house tunes and a bit of R&B thrown in there too, just to get everyone up for the game.

Who’s got the best and worst fashion sense at the club?!

Always gonna have to back myself with the fashion there but a few lads have a bit. Sam & Cody have a decent fashion sense I must say. Hammy (James Hamon) has to have the worst I think, he’d admit that himself! Turns up in anything.

Who are the biggest jokers at the club?

Again gonna have to be hammy I think, he’s got no filter so anything can come out his mouth. Omar cracks me up a bit too, comes out with some stuff.

THE NEW SIGNINGS

How are the new lads settling into the squad?

Yeah the new lads are settling in lovely, all fit perfectly into the squad and great lads too which is the main thing.

BEING AT TUFC & THE YELLOW ARMY

How much have you enjoyed being at TUFC so far?

Yeah loved my time at Torquay so far, it’s been great. The lads been top class, fans & staff. Can’t fault it so far and again hopefully that can continue throughout my time here.

How impressed have you been with the Yellow Army’s support and how much motivation does that give the lads to do well?

The Yellow Army have been top notch all season from start to finish, not sure they realise how important they are for all of us! They give us that extra 5/10% we need in games, home & away! They act as a 12th man for us so it’s so special to have them every week.
