HOW WAS YOUR TIME AT YEOVIL LAST SEASON?

Yeah my time at Yeovil was enjoyable and tough. Was a great group of lads and everything so enjoyed my time there, obviously was unreal to win the league too, so for me personally was a great experience and one I won’t forget for obvious reasons. Was a step back into full time for me too which was massive because that’s where I wanted to get back to.

WHAT WERE THE MAIN FACTORS IN YOUR DECISION TO JOIN UNITED?

For me one of the main factors in signing here was how big the club is and the background of the club, everyone knows about this place. Also as soon as I spoke with the gaffer I knew I wanted to come to Torquay. Another factor was also Austen being here as I’ve played with him before and he’s one of my good mates so helped a lot with settling in.

HOW ARE YOU SETTLING IN AT THE CLUB?

Yeah settling great at the club so far. The lads, staff and fans have been great so far and obviously like I mention earlier Austen was here so was easy for me to get to know the place straight away and feel welcome.

HOW TOUGH HAS PRE-SEASON TRAINING BEEN UNDER PAUL WOTTON?

Pre-season has been tough but enjoyable. Been plenty of running and ball work, been really good so far and the lads are looking good too which is the key part. Been a different pre-season as there’s a total new group of lads but everyone’s linked straight away which was great.

HAVE YOU BEEN HAPPY WITH THE FIRST 2 GAMES OF PRE-SEASON?

Yeah really happy with how the first 2 games have gone, personally and collectively. Been great to get out there with the boys, put the work in and get ready for the season to come. Tough one cause you can’t really look into results in pre season as they don’t count for anything so it’s all about putting in the work really and we all are which is good.

WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN STRENGTHS AS A PLAYER?

Tough one this as it’s hard personally to pick out your own strengths but think my left foot is a big strength as there’s not as many out there and probably defending and on the ball work, like to play with the ball.

HAVE YOU ENJOYED BEING INVOLVED IN THE WILL HANCOX VIDEOS & HOW DO YOU RATE YOUR ACTING?!

Yeah been involved in some of his videos and they have been ledge, he’s a top guy and great at what he does. I don’t think my acting skills are great but I think Will is just good at his job making me look half decent at it.

ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PLYMOUTH AND EXETER HOME GAMES?

Really looking forward to the Plymouth & Exeter games for obvious reasons as they are both massive clubs and a great test for us to see where we are at but again it’s pre-season. These results like I said before don’t mean anything so don’t want to look too far into them. Just want to use them to get myself and the team ready for the 10th August when it matters most.

WHAT ARE YOUR AIMS & AMBITIONS FOR 2024/25?

Aims and ambitions are obviously to try and finish as high as possible in the league. Again to try play my best football and see what happens, the aim is just to take it 1 game at a time and not look too far forward and see what happens.
