Luca discusses United’s second PSF opponents
LAST SEASON
We had a excellent 2023/24 season just missing out on the play-offs in the final weeks off the season due to a injury crisis. However during the season we still had some excellent wins including beating Frome 6-2 at home and beating table toppers Wimborne 3-2.
THE SQUAD
We are very pleased with the squad with many integral players from last season committing for this season as well as some quality new signings to help the squad.
THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
The management team is fantastic at Tavi, our manager Stuart Henderson is brilliant with the boys and has a great relationship with the players and fans. Our assistant Darren Spong is also excellent on and off the pitch as well as our goalkeeping coach James Owen.
PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
In pre-season we have already faced Plymouth Parkway beating them 4-1 as well as playing St Austell, Wellington and Camelford. We also still have exciting friendlies to play including games against Truro, Barnstaple and a Plymouth Argyle side.
LOOKING AHEAD TO 24/25
We will be competing in the Southern League Division One South which is step four of non-league football. As many players and management staff have already said in interviews we will be looking to get into the play-offs picture come the end of the season, even though the league is harder than ever.
VISITING SUPPORTERS
Gulls fans can expect a warm welcome coming to Langsford Park as well as the best hot dogs and burgers in non-league in the Lambing Shed. We also have a excellent club shop filled with excellent memorabilia, including programmes ranging from present day to 20 years ago. It is a classic non-league ground, with standing and also seating arrangements in two of our three stands. We also have a excellent pitch, and many places to stand behind the goal or on the side off the pitch to support your team.
