SEASON SO FAR

Incredible. let’s be honest we’re a small club from a small village. No-one had heard of us before and we were favourites to finish dead bottom. But we’ve been in and around the play-off places all season. It’s been amazing.

FORM

We’ve really started to find ourselves again in the last two games. Monday night against Maidstone was our best performance all season. The start of the month was tough with three defeats though.

HIGHLIGHTS

Away days to new clubs. The way our fans have grown and stuck together. And of course triggering Yeovil fans.

KEY PLAYERS

We’ve had a few changes since you visited Parkside. New boys Ryan Carr and Raz De-Graft are really impressive. But Charlee Hughes has been a big one this season. Puts a shift in every game and doesn’t not stop running. To be fair the whole squad has been key to where we are right now.

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

Our main strength is probably our fast attacking play. Getting up the pitch quickly and the movement around the whole team enables that. However, it can also be our weakness as it can sometimes need some patience to do this and when frustrated, we can end up going long ball. That doesn’t always work out.

LINE-UP

I imagine it will be almost the same as the last two. Although Jambang went off injured on Monday and it looked a nasty one so I think Jason Ring will be in. Maybe a slight change up front too.

PLAY-OFFS

I think we can. But I don’t think we will. It’s very tight for places in the table and a win doesn’t even guarantee you go up a place. Personally, I would rather just miss out and concentrate on cementing our place in the league.

BEST OPPOSITION

Teamwise, Bath gave us the toughest game. They completely dominated and looked a complete package across the whole team. As far as players go. Ollie Pearce at Worthing and Tyreke Johnson at Chippenham both gave us a lot of trouble.
