Why TUFC?:They are my local club and I loved being able to see live football as a child, and that has stuck with me.
Year started supported TUFC and 1st game?: When I was a child, my Dad would notice that Torquay were at home in the paper on a Saturday morning and asked if I fancied going, probably 5 or 6 times per season. As I got older, I wanted to go more and more, and the game that sticks in my mind as THE moment is Torquay v Swansea on Boxing Day in 1997/98. The atmosphere was great, Rodney Jack and Jason Roberts scored, and that was it from then on.
Favourite all-time TUFC players?:Rodney Jack, David Graham, Steve Woods, Brian Healy and Tim Sills.
Best TUFC memory?:Promotion at Southend, and beating Cambridge at Wembley.
Worst TUFC memory?: Without question relegation at Colchester. Absolutely awful day and didn’t see it coming on the day. Terrible.
Favourite spot at Plainmoor?: Interesting question. It’s always been the halfway line of the Popside for me with my Dad and my mate. But times are about to change now that I have two Torquay mad sons. So it’s Bristow’s Bench from this season. So, I need to find a new favourite spot!
