So the World Cup is over and it pains me to say France are worthy winners. Most are saying it’s the best tournament ever I have to say I agree with them. So many great games and shocks. Ronaldo and Messi probably played their last tournament and neither really turned up.
A special mention to England for a good shot at winning the tournament. Unfortunately it’s not coming home but it’s certainly getting closer. I’d fallen out of love of watching the Three Lions after some disastrous campaigns in the last few tournaments. It’s safe to say my love affair with England has been rekindled but I think the whole country now feels like that. Let’s hope it continues!
Anyway not long until the new season starts.
